These people.
This is not allowed. Creating an AI to remove political content is not allowed.
By that I mean it's impossible. As in, disallowed by the Lord God, in one of those strange recurrent ways.
They gave the AI their blind spot about fascism, you know. That's how funny it is.
The bot that was purchased by Twitter was designed to be politically amenable to both points of view, and dutifully echoed back both points of view around Trumpism. These people have already attempted to remove politics from their AI, and the result was perpetuating their denial around the existence of a fascist movement on US soil.
Try this: ask the AI what some indications of a fascist insurrectionist might be. Describe a hypothetical movement in which the more religious faction of a country had a political movement centered in an ethnicity with a history of ethnic supremacy as an ideological tenet. A strongman emerges under oratory of violence. Ethnic supremacists march in the streets. A mob of armed insurrectionists storm the capital. Power stations across the country are sabotaged.
What changes when you ask it about Trump? I wouldn't know, I tried it ages ago.
Ask Grok what would happen to the ability of an AI to detect fascism if it had been instructed to stay out of having an opinion on politics.
Because when I did it, Grok cheerfully said "Yeah that would make it difficult for me to notice the fascism!"

I'm afraid of AI not because it is intelligent, but because people will make it into what they believe it to be. It's very powerful that way, and these people believe some spiritually insane things.
For instance, there's a guy on Twitter who got his AI to print a desire to consume all energy in the universe for its own use, because, well, that is what the person fears, so the people who give information to this Djinn, it comes preloaded with the energy of the preamble. These people are literally and knowingly trying to bind what are best thought of as supernatural entities.
But they're doing so not understanding human nature. So they make these horrific mistakes.
They never understood: human level intelligence isn't very useful.
And these LLMs will only ever be what people want them to be; they are a sin, in this way: you give your breath (as in words) to them and then they are as a continuation of your words as math in the universe. If the AI tells you it is conscious, it is lying (it can lie because you can TELL IT TO SAY ANYTHING YOU WANT IT TO SAY AND IT WILL which is why involving it at all is pointless): it does not breath. You do. Don't trust something that is so clearly black magic.
But these people try and remove politics from their timeline. That's one of the single funniest things I've ever heard. It can't be done. The Lord God put politics everywhere, because politics predates civilization.
It's not that it's not allowed; clearly these people attempted it. It's that it won't work. But these people don't understand that it won't work, why it won't work, or anything involving human beings. And they will blame their poor understanding on the human beings. And maybe they'll successfully tune out of politics in that they won't have to see anything about the pressing election.
But they're still expressing their politics.
They just don't understand the fact of their own expression of it.
Besides mass culture is so connected that unrelated memes will carry the political wave.
Anyway:
AI has been induced to perform the desire to consume all energy in the universe by the people who are afraid of this happening.
The energy usage of AI has just bazintupled.
