Jewish chad (i literally typed that out) drops the mother of all TRVKES about disability accommodations in higher ed that brings out a MASSIVE flood of seethe (feat @TracingWoodgrains)

https://archive.ph/B32MG

Intro

I just wanna preface that of all institutions ravaged by foids in the 21st century, none have been hit harder than higher ed. Terminal foid "empathy" is one of the leading causes of cultural decay and the reason why virtues like "personal responsibility" have greatly flown out the window over the years. I think it is absolutely fitting and telling that the lead antagonist in Harrison Bergeron is a foid.

The culture of higher ed has increasingly become one where weakness and disability of both the physical and mental variety are exhalted over strength and health. Its not a coincidence that your average liberal arts PhD student from 2013-present lists their illnesses in their twitter bio like its badge of honor. Its gotten so bad lately that a surprising number of young college foids have been observed walking with a cane as of late, for example.

With academia being a bastion of conformity and cowardice, few have dared to speak out about this toxic, feminine-skewed phenomenon other than the author of this piece, Alan Levinowitz. To sum up the juicy bits of the article, theres been a sharp uptick in disabled-identified students attending universities in recent years. Studies have shown that a significant number of students who claim to have or have been diagnosed by a clinician with ADHD and/or other similar r-sluration that makes one elligible for special accommodations are likely exaggerating or bullpooping. Of course, accommodations are given in the vast majority of cases because admins are a mix of too bogged down with requests to scrutinize them and are afflicted with wokeitis. This has lead to some rather scandalous developments where it was found that a disproportionate number of top achieving students were receiving disability accommodations.

Drama

Our brave author dared to promote his article on twitter anticipating MASSIVE seethe, and boy was he right! Lots of fine examples of humanity BTFOing his problematic eugenic butt.

:marseychonkerfoid: Do you have a source on that?

:marseychonkerfoid: Source?

:marseychonkerfoid: A source. I need a source.

This raging (L)user is implied to have Long Covid based on the link in bio. Also retweets mutual AIDS requests from :marseytrain2:archists.

I dont like what the article says, therefore MISINFORMATION!

Pro-dysgenic meme account doesnt approve, what a shocker!

This Analyst-Antiracist-Antipatriarchist-AntiTERF-Antiableist-Anticolonialist-Abolitionist-Anticapitalist believes the author is wrong because he has not considered LIVED EXPERIENCES enough and did not consult with the right (((experts))) on the subject.

Ok, I can say this person is convincingly mentally disabled with their own clear lack of self awareness.

Epilogue: @TracingWoodgrains has entered the chat

Amidst the onslaught of hate heaped on this epic TRVKE was a nod of approval by our elite dramatard operative @TracingWoodgrains:

As Trace didnt experience quite the same level of deluge of criticism aimed at the author, he had more capacity to engage with his haters:

Trace even dropped some TRVKEs of his own:

In law school, you're graded on a forced curve against your classmates. The traditional form of finals are timed issue spotters, where you are given fact patterns and asked to identify as many legal issues as possible in a set period of time. I'm sure it's completely coincidental, but 8 of the 10 highest ranked students after my 1L year had 50% bonus time on their exams.

Learning disorders aren't real. They're just the latest euphemism for r-slurred (or in ADHD's case, meth-addicted). Imagine an article "Harvard's accommodations for the r-slurred meth addicts"

Lots of white women were promised that their r-slurred children would become wunderkinder engineers and doctors if they gave their kids meth. I listened to it around the coffee table growing up, hearing how their children were "smart but get distracted easily, and can't focus because of their condition". Then I watched every ADHD child just beeline straight into the underclass upon graduation, the promises of financial success never manifested.

How is this not considered a scam? If conservatives (or anyone browsing in the right field of academia), really wanted to dunk on the ADHD myth, showcase through longitudial studies how rare it is for them to actually succeed at life even after taking copious amounts of borderline-meth at a young age. That'd throw doubt onto the actual benefits of taking these drugs, and whether the health complications are worth it.

It's an open unsecret that half of psych meds have shit r-slurred evidence backing them up.

You need to understand that foids don't care about that

When they see a problem, they only think as far as "we have to do something"

If there's nothing that will help, then they'll do something to make things worse, no matter how obvious it might be

Because they have to do something

Honestly I can relate to both the person rejoicing over Adderall curing their ADHD and to Dr kitten_beloved, PhD, mocking them.

I'd never been able to listen in class before taking Adderall, and then it became trivially easy. It's like if a -20 handicap turned to a +50 advantage instantly.

I didn't like the drugs' side effect so I didn't use them long; I found I learned better through self directed learning and learning by doing than listening to lectures passively. That and I'm just a :marseyretard2:

Sorry for the blog posting, I find this topic fascinating especially since I had to supervise exams for those that requested extra time, academia is in a bad shape

Like the other reply, it actually helps me a lot at small doses when I otherwise can't focus. It wasn't something used in highschool or college to study for exams like doctors' children do.

JFC people who preface their thoughts using internet lingo or have the complete inability to express themselves without internet euphemisms should be shot. Imagine trying to solicit feedback from someone who was like YEAH BUT U THINK U ATE DUN U

chats with a certain sort of disability rights advocate is kinda wild bc you'll say things like "It seems like a problem that extra time sharply increases LSAT scores in a zero-sum setting" and they'll respond with "so you think people with ADHD are unworthy of higher ed?"

Insert "You could tweet I love pancakes and someone will tweet reply SO YOU HATE WAFFLES" meme

I'm sorry but if you go to this "sobering study" I am not so sober anymore.

Basically they sent a neuropsych report with the patient complaining about feeling ADD, a bunch of cognitive test numbers in the normal range, and the doctor's evaluation:

The report concluded with the statement that the student's presentation was "most consistent with a presence of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder", that she "would benefit from" additional time on exams, and recommends 50% extra time be given in all classes. It is noteworthy that the report did not indicate that the student met any specific diagnostic criteria for a diagnosis of ADHD. While the report says that extra time would be beneficial, nowhere does it state that additional time is required to mitigate any disability-related functional limitations.

So sounds like basically in these offices they're going with the doctor's note "Kid has ADD, give them extra time" and not double checking a pile of test results

all you are doing is turning people away from your cause. i'm conservative and deeply religious but you make me want to donate to a transgender hospital because you wont shut up about :!marseytrain:s for 5 minutes. you shoehorn your dislike for transgenders every single chance you get, often times completely unrelated to the topic. we get it, you hate :!marseytrain:s. give it a rest. this is a site about internet drama not gender politics. go post on lipstick alley or gendercritical or whatever if thats all you want to talk about. and on the other side we have the trans jannies you hate so much, who never talk gender politics at all and are intelligent and hard workers. legitimately a pleasure to work with them. you are all talk and no walk to the point where you need a mute button and they consistently demonstrate their worth thru their actions and behavior. now please explain to me why I should want to hate :!marseytrain:s so much?
