The 2,000-member Marubo tribe, who live along the Ituí River deep in the Amazon rainforest, were connected to the World Wide Web last September after 20 antennas were donated to them by American entrepreneur Allyson Reneau.

“Young people have gotten lazy because of the internet,” she explained. “They're learning the ways of the white people.”

Tribespeople became so addicted that Marubo leaders have now limited access to the internet for two hours each morning, five hours each evening, and all day Sunday.

He says many young Marubo men have been sharing porn videos in group chats and he has already observed more “aggressive sexual behavior” in some of them.

“We're worried young people are going to want to try it,” he said of the kinky s*x acts they've suddenly been exposed to on screen.

Meanwhile, others say that they've fallen victim to internet scams given that they lack digital literacy, while many youngsters are chatting with strangers on social media.

Still, some officials in Brazil have criticized the rollout to the remote communities, saying special cultures and customs could now be lost forever.

“This is called ethnocentrism,” Dutra said of such critiques “The white man thinking they know what's best.”

Okay move to Covington Kentucky. Covington is a suburb of Cincinnati Ohio and im literaly in walking distance to Cincinnatis city center. On any given day my neighbors grandkids are out paying basketball until the streetlights come on. I got guatamalins in the alley, which i can see from my back yard, working on cars what feels like 24/7. I can sit on my front porch until midnight and have people walking by nearly every 15 minutes, not everybody says hello but then again i don't say hi to every person who walks by either so who knows. I got a reoccuring card game in the garage next door every Thursday with some vietnam vets. I've been over many times to play with em, its a dollar a game so bring money. My friend recently told me about a trip to the psychologist where she was asking the psychologist whether or not she has autism.

I wonder if the rise in diagnoses is just due to the fact that for some reason it's no longer a shameful disorder and people are going out trying to get diagnosed.
