So recently there was a post that got removed from /r/RPG about how punching nazis is a great thing so you should buy my stuff and I'll give 5% of the money to a good cause. You know, the anti-capitalist way.
Well, that post got jannied; only the jannies were very keen for the sub to know that while they do it for free, they didn't do that for free - it was done by the admiggers who, unlike the jannies, get paid to mop. The jannies of /r/rpg then pinned the seethepost to the top of the sub to ensure everyone knows that they do it for free.
This then caused a bunch of extra virtue signalling nazi resisting to pop up, including:
Remaking the post under a "cleverly" reworded title
https://old.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/1idsqfk/physically_resist_a_specific_brand_of/
Someone just linking to the bundle and going "updoots to the left" in possibly the laziest poast
https://old.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/1idr5tw/bundle_of_holding/
A post linking to a "game" that isn't a game, just a political screed. Most egregiously, it lets you play as a jo*rnalist.
https://old.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/1idum5h/survive_the_tyrant_an_rpg_about_resisting/
And finally, another re-linking to the bundle but this time with even more seething about the admins
https://old.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/1idtaov/since_it_appears_that_reddits_admins_love_nazis/
One comment on that thread is promoting the game Eat the Reich which is... not good as notepad anon summarizes:
needless to say /r/rpg has put them at the top of the thread
and a bonus opportunity for ban evasion!
There's also this post that also promotes ETR in the most safe-edgy way I can think of
https://old.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/1ie0lpm/eat_the_reich_clarification_humor/
And while we're on the subject of "antifascist RPGs that you have to buy for some reason" don't forget to check out @MayflyAlt-98's post about the hilariously bad SIGMATA: This Signal Kills Fascists

Why did Elon Musk just say Trump wants to bring two stranded astronauts home?
For reasons that were not immediately clear, SpaceX founder Elon Musk took to his social media site X on Tuesday evening to make a perplexing space-based pronouncement.
"The POTUS has asked SpaceX to bring home the 2 astronauts stranded on the Space_Station as soon as possible. We will do so," Musk wrote. "Terrible that the Biden administration left them there so long."
Now generally, at Ars Technica, it is not our policy to write stories strictly based on things Elon Musk says on X. However, this statement was so declarative, and so consternation-inducing for NASA, it bears a bit of explication.
lmao bullshit, Ars loves to sneed about everything Elon does; it's basically TMZ but only covering Elon.
Foremost, NASA has gone to great lengths to stress that the two astronauts referenced hereβButch Wilmore and Suni Williamsβare not stranded on the International Space Station.
The astronauts are clearly stranded as has been covered extensively over the last year by even leftie organisations:
NPR also released an article insisting that the astronauts aren't stranded - https://www.npr.org/2025/01/28/nx-s1-5278636/iss-astronaut-rescue-spacex-trump:
Ars comments are of course mad:
Why wouldn't the US government want to bring two stranded astronauts home? Why is this the top comment? What are you mad about?
They were meant to be there for eight days. The eighteen month stay was planned.
And yet they're still stranded there, curious. Why don't they just fly back home? They must want to be there.
The bottom two comments - note the guy who's had an account for 17 years.

These don't have to be explicitly political. Just something that can be applied to our politics. Unfortunately while the writing in Madoka Magica is top tier and the story makes me feel in ways that few other forms of media can, it does not do politics very well which is why I took my favorite quote from a series that is actually based around geopolitics.
In a way this quote truly encapsulates the condition of our current political system, and in a way it mirrors the shinobi world quite well. For example we don't get to choose our sides. People act like we get a choice but there just are not many options. For example like the shinobi, we are given a village, a country. And that country can be segmented down into clans, families, and many other forms of allegiances. All of these are decided entirely by the nature of our own birth, rather than our own choices.
We are guided only by the necessity to make the most prudent choice. We are expected to be part of the group and sacrifice our entire being for its benefit. Like the shinobi each one of us is little more than a tool to be discarded when we are no longer useful. Is that not the way things should be?
Anyways, I'm excited to see your favorite anime quotes that can be applied to political systems! If anyone finds away to do this with the Madoka Magica series please let me know! I have been trying to find a way for years but it just doesn't seem to fit.

Trump is about to turn the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) over to Patel too, according to sources cited by multiple news outlets on Saturday evening. The extraordinary move has some wondering if Trump might move to dissolve the ATF altogether.

So I'm at work and I'm about to start working a different schedule than the one I've been on for the past few months. This is all well and good, and I've known about it for several months at this point. As the day of the change approaches I'm talking to my manager about some other stuff and he says "By the way what was your new schedule again? Because what you told me the last time we talked about it doesn't match what's in the system."
Turns out someone fricked up the paperwork and my new schedule in the system is slightly off from what was in the announcement months back. While slightly less convenient, it's barely different from what I was already expecting so I'm thinking okay whatever. I just really really REALLY need my time off requests that I put in forever ago adjusted to match the new schedule.
Apparently this is not a simple ask. I got pulled into chief HR's office at the end of the day and was informed that the issue had been passed all the way up to corporate legal and they were going to offer to honor the schedule I was originally presented with in the announcement "as a gesture of goodwill (please don't sue us)". I declined and made it clear that I reeeeeaaaaallly don't give a shit about the minor schedule adjustment, I just need my PTO moved. Response was "we technically still can't force that through, you'll have to get $other_department to override it for you if you decide to keep the adjusted schedule."
So now the shitty part is that I know exactly who fricked up the paperwork and I'm worried that I've made enemies out of her entire chain of command. And all for nothing, because I still don't have a guarantee that I'll get my time off. I just wanted my fricking PTO fixed.
This is at a fortune 100 megacorp (doebeit at a very low level because I am an unambitious lazy r-slur).
