It seems there is a movement on a lot of the sports subreddits. Especially Canadian hockey subreddits to ban twitter links.
hockey https://old.reddit.com/r/hockey/comments/1i6h6sm/can_we_ban_twitter_links_now/
They all seem to be getting massive support and upmarseys. Some subreddits like hockey are user proposed but others like the Maple Leafs sub are being hosted by the mods.
leafs https://old.reddit.com/r/leafs/comments/1i6kj05/subreddit_discussion_should_we_ban_twitter_links/
This extends beyond hockey though. Liverpool football club has the post locked down while the mods discuss. Same situation with Manchester United
Liverpool https://old.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/1i6gym0/proposal_to_ban_xcom_links/
RedDevils https://old.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/1i6idm3/proposal_to_ban_xcom_links/
I have nothing extra to add but here's Vancouver Canucks sub too just to show that it's a lot of subreddits.
Canucks https://old.reddit.com/r/canucks/comments/1i6kc8y/can_we_also_ban_xtwitter_links_from_this_sub/
Lots of discussion of Elon of course but a lot of people also just pointing out that X links are simply trash anyway and suck to use.
Some of these posts seem to be getting brigaded according to the mods at reddevils.

Edit 2:
Chelsea got it's own post and the main mod who literally calls himself the "emperor/autocrat" of the subreddit immediately shut it down but is getting called out. https://old.reddit.com/r/chelseafc/comments/1i6hprq/proposal_to_ban_xcom_links/
New mod seems to have taken over the stickied comment now. Saying that they are discussing it internally.

ehbuddyhoser https://old.reddit.com/r/EhBuddyHoser/comments/1i6mccr/proposal_to_ban_xcom_links/
Mod has already said no. Although one of the reasons is the mod doesn't remember there ever being a single twitter link post anyway. Rather than a ideological reason.

Calling Thor a roach in WOW context is appropriate considering dude just ran. Obviously hate brigading and death threats isn't ok but none of that would've happened if Thor took accountability, didn't handle this drama in the worst way possible and didn't triple down despite being wrong. It's a classic example of Streisand effect in action. According to plaintiffs' counsel, Meta engineer Nikolay Bashlykov, who works on the Llama research team, wrote a script to remove copyright info, including the word "copyright" and "acknowledgments," from e-books in LibGen. Separately, Meta allegedly stripped copyright markers from science journal articles and "source metadata" in the training data it used for Llama.

Right, there's nothing productive to be had in terms of discussion here, and I don't think you guys even care at this point either to try.
Call it whatever stupid buzzword you want - Woke, DEI, PC, SJW, or whatever dumb term people come up with next week. I don't care. The term means, always has meant, and always WILL mean "Not being an butthole to someone because they're different to you."
Don't pretend that the old stories were fine just having black or gay people - Because buttholes complained about that then, just like you are complaining about it now. The reality is, people who are not the same skin colour, sexual orientation, gender, lifestyle, size, physical ability, etc etc, than you, Exist. They always have, and always will.
Culture including people with different characteristics to you IS NOT A SLIGHT. They are not doing it to offend you, or to "gaslamp you" or whatever nonsense the Anti Woke Brigade has come up with this week. These characters are being created so that the real human beings who have those differences, have someone to look at and go "Hey this guy's like me!" That's it. That's the whole thing. It's just about making everybody feel welcome.
If you want to complain about this, I encourage you to send us a modmail. But this thread is locked, and you know darn well why.

Some choice quotes from the top food scientists of reddit
/u/Brujo-Bailando writes
Make Americans drink poop milk again!
/u/ahifun writes
Milk souring is a separate process from spoiling, as it occurs when lactose splits into different acids. But with that falsehood out of the way, I'm sure this genius knows a lot about microbiology. He could definitely name the good/bad bacterias he's talking about straight from memory, doubly so for his nutrients and enzymes.
/u/KT0QNE jokerposts his milkifesto
People have been drinking raw milk for thousands of years.
People have been eating fermented milk products for thousands a year, leading some, not all, to develop a gene that prolongs their infantile ability to break down lactose based on the trace amounts found in processed milk. Dairy producing countries pre-pasturation did not have raw milk drinking cultural traditions outside of farmland, as refridgeration to slow down the growth of bacteria of raw milk didn't exactly exist.
Such as? What are they? How much is lost?
A true blue fentposter /u/Cliphdiver adds:
@K the FDA!
Is it safe or does it need to be strained? I hope they have a strainer from the future that can filter microbes smaller than milk's existing fats.
Past ignorance does not somehow make the repeating the same stupidity less ignorant. The police comes because raw milk farmers are a threat to society, and honestly they should be shot where they stand so we don't have to hear them whining that they can't profit off selling people dangerous bullshit. Libertarians can't comprehend this because they're stupid enough to be libertarians in the first place.
/u/huntsvillekan posts the following legitament historical account detailing why you can't trust dairy farmers not to kill people, ergo why they must be regulated by force under capitalism: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/history/surprisingly-intolerant-history-milk-180969056/
Some highlights: 8000 yearly deaths in NYC from unregulated milk farmers, "The Greeks castigated barbarians for their gluttonous desire for dairy...in Rome, milk was widely regarded as low-status food because it was something only farmers drank," "
It would take both technological innovation and a change in social mores to popularize animal milk...milk was one of the first foods to be truly affected by industrialization"
So is mass milk drinking thousands of years old and ubiquitous, or a product of the industrial revolution. Anyway...
/u/chobbs2006 comes in explaining how raw milk is their latest schizo-cure to the new in-vogue hypochondriac illness: GERD!
It's like these fad-diet chasers come out of a factory somewhere
Most of the remaining commenters of note just have anecdotes about living on a farm, drinking raw milk, and using a fricking cheesecloth on their already contaminated milk to get the shit-chunks out.
Happy drinking!
