I made a new friend in real life today.

I've been going out to make friends and I summoned Sandalphon and we hung out and ate cookies.

Slavshit State of Play by a Griller- The Zegro Strikes Back :marseyputin:

Hecko folx,

I've made a few of these before, but this is the first time I'm making one when not extremely hungover. Anyway, what's been going on in everyone's favourite trench warfare slugfest in the last month?

HOHOLS RUN OUT OF AMMO (FR THIS TIME)

Put simply, the uKKKrainians ran out of ammo to do anything of note apart from sitting in a trench and firing the occasional artillery round. Russia on the other hand seems to be doing fine, given a helping hand by Best Korea but otherwise focusing on domestic production. The burgers recently accused China of sending weapons to the front, but considering they've been accusing the chinx of this for over a year now with no evidence I don't really believe them anymore. All this means that the

ZIGGERS ARE ADVANCING FASTER THAN USUAL

Quick Q and A-

  • has any city of actual military value been captured

No

  • has any major civilian centre been captured

No

  • has anything at all of actual military value been captured

Yes. From what I can tell most of the defensive trench lines the ukies have set up in on the front line in Donetsk have been captured. Note this does not mean all or even the most important fortifications, the most important fortress cities lay outside of zigga hands.

WELL OK THEN, WHY DO WE CARE?

Because in the last few days/weeks the uKKKrainians have been putting up less and less resistance for every random village taken, which you can find out more about from the incoherent Salvposts written about them. Put simply, the Putinoids are advancing quicker and quicker.

DOES THIS MEAN THE HOHOLS ARE DONE?

IMO not in the short term. The burgers and the Czechs (who've spent the last few months panhandling for ammo) have committed to start giving ammunition in the next few days, which will probably allow Zelenskyyyyyyy to halt the Ruzzian advance somewhere between Chasiv Yarrr and Sloviansk. The hohols have been warning of a new Russian advance in a few months time, but they always do that to give a sense of urgency.

>A housing advocacy group is slamming Denver's new Asylum Seekers Program as β€œinsufficient” and β€œa slap in the face,” even staging a protest to voice their disapproval β€” as the city spends tens of millions of dollars on migrant aid and slashes its emergency services budget to stave off insolvency in the wake of the influx.

>The program will provide six months of free housing, food assistance, workforce training and more to the approximately 1,000 migrants currently in the city's shelter system as they await authorization to work, which due to federal asylum seeker law can take up to 180 days.

Reported by:

Ukraine's military needs younger men not only because they are physically fitter than older men but also because they can master technology used on the battlefield faster, President Volodymyr Zelensky told French YouTuber Hugo Travers in an interview published on April 21.

Zelensky signed several laws on mobilization on April 2, one of which lowered the minimum age of compulsory military service from 27 to 25, making men eligible for the draft from age 25.

25 is the new 27 everyone!

For those of you that don't know 47th brigade was the spearhead of spring counteroffensive. It's unique brigade because it was one fully formed by nato standards all their soldiers were young fit men that had no Soviet training and were probably even before the conflict trained in the western countries and were fully equipped with nato gear

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/47th_Mechanized_Brigade_(Ukraine)

They were owned very hard during their spring counteroffensive

As of September 2023, the brigade had suffered around 2,000 casualties out of its initial complement of 5,000.

Official estimate so things must been a lot worse

On 16 September 2023, Lieutenant Colonel Oleksandr Sak was removed from command and replaced by Colonel

Oleksandr Sak In 2023, he was included in Forbes 30 Under 30: Creators of the Future rating.

:marseyxd: :marseyemojirofl:

Because the brigade had tons of hypes

https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2023/06/23/where-are-ukraines-m-55s-tanks/

The 47th Brigade is a special unit. It began last year as an all-volunteer battalion in Kharkiv in northeastern Ukraine, then quadrupled in size to become a brigade. Equipped mostly with American and European weapons and trained to NATO standards, it's one of the most Western of Ukraine's brigades.

So Ukraine didn't wanted to lose that brigade for media propaganda reasons and fill it with tons of mobilised units and send it to avdiivka

Ukrainian commander-in-chief Syrskyi publicly praised the 47th Brigade in March 2024 for its efforts in repelling Russian attacks on the villages of Berdychi and Orlivka.[34] On March 10, 2024, the commander of the brigade, Ryumshin, was replaced by Col. Yan Yatsishen.[35] The latter is the fourth commander so far.

:marseyxd: :marseyclapping:

And then after avdiivka they and berdichy they were send to rest, for 2 weeks then they were send to protect Ocheretine

El PaΓs on April 22, 2024 reported the brigade was in dire straits due to ammunition and equipment shortages; in one company, for instance, there remained only two Bradley vehicles in operation out of its initial eleven.

So they told frick it today and run away :marseychefkiss:

@Szia_uram is super fan of this brigade so I am sure he would like to know more about this brigade after all would Forbes gives title of creator of future to a random ? :surejan:
