Im in housing association housing which is similar, but you buy a share of the property, pay rent on the rest, and can buy the rest later.
So my 2 bedroom was worth £125k and I was able to afford £75k max. That much alone couldnt get me a 2 bedroom house in decent condition, so I bought a 50% share in a housing association one and rent the remaining 50% (not for profit, 3% maximum APR, 125 year lease etc).
Place has been listed for 204 days now. A place that big, that close to LA, and for that price should have been snapped up in a couple months at most. Very fishy, probably a shithole that needs loads of fixing or a former trap house

Based on the pictures it appears to be in great condition, but they might be older pics with the current state a lot worse or something.
