I get that the creator of the format isn’t particularly keen on instant win conditions, since wizards added them to magic: the gathering not having the concept of instantly summoning a WUBRG minion in mind. However, I find it to be a cute and fun card. It’s like all my little buddies from all walks of life work together to win the day. The black and white creatures can live in speech. When I play coalition victory, i feel like Martin Luther King giving his “I have a dream speech,” or like Barack Hussein Obama being sworn in as our president. I’m single-handedly eliminating all racism by casting that beautiful spell. Indeed, a perfect machine can be made from imperfect parts (which is why we include the Mayo cards). However, Sheldon is probably too Mayo to want to mix his colors, and so he refuses to unban it. Probably why painter’s servant is still banned.

I just don’t get it.
