The cop jerk is so exhausting. I can’t help but think people just have problems with authority of any kind. If in 10 years no black dudes are shot and all drugs are legal people would still have the same amount of seethe.
I've wondered for a very long time, how that sub can get over 1,000 comments in a day. Like, when I first found out about that place, I thought it was an r/ShitLiberalsSay offshoot, but SLS rarely gets over 100 comments. And apparently it has more people than SLS. So, maybe they're from r/ChapoTrapHouse? But Chapo also doesn't get as many comments; by checking their top posts of all time, Chapo comes close in the 800s, but not really as far as 1000s. But r/EnlightenedCentrism gets over 1000 a lot!
Yeah, I can see how you could come up with it being like SLS. I had thought it was more highlighting false equivalency arguments by the politically disillusioned, but lately it seems that antifa is taking over. Now common sense things like cops preventing vigilante justice are someone “MUH ENLIGHTENED CENTRISM”.🙄
That’s what disturbs me about this sub. It’s regularly on the Popular feed of the app, whereas none of the other radical subs ever make it up that far. Some user’s comment has thousands of upvotes and his tag is Anarcho-Stalinist—like wtf, who is upvoting this? I can’t believe that sub hasn’t been quarantined yet.
