If it's real (and I am personally leaning fake/bait, but it's not impossible) then OP doesn't give enough information to determine whether or not he's a sexpat. His wife lived in Japan until 25, they live in America now, and those are the only concrete facts he gives besides his kids' ages (he never mentions he or his wife's age). Odds are good he met her in Japan and not vice-versa for a litany of reasons, but the most obvious one is simply that he probably wouldn't call his dad a sexpat if she was the one who came here.
