I did not know either one of those forums because I’m not a loser 💅🏼 but from what I’ve found out during this drama, Resetera popular users and admins were from NeoGAF first. NeoGAF did have a pedo and they had a falling out within the community. Not sure if it was related to that one pedo user. Initially, they wanted to leave NeoGAF because the mods were too aggressive or some shit like that. Anyway, over the years, NeoGAF became less restricting and Resetera is ban ban ban all the time. Maybe it’s the pedos who migrated to Resetera? It seems like that to me.
If I recall, the creator of NeoGaf got #metoo'd and a bunch of upper level staff were legit pedos. A lot of people jumped ship and created REEEEsetera though they ironically brought over some pedos themselves.
