I totally realize most people are going to disagree with me here but I feel compelled to say that closing r/Drama for a joke wasn't a very kind thing to do. We have seen TONS of posts from vulnerable populations talking about how the sub is a source of support and humor in a dark time. Irony and dirtbagism aside, taking away that support without warning was not okay.
You can say I'm being silly, or humorless or reactionary. Whatever. I love the sub and I love the community. But sometimes I come home after dealing with ableism and our nightmare reality all day, and the sub is one of many things that make me feel better. It wasn't a good feeling to find the sub closed for the sake of irony. Maybe that's laughable or pathetic. But for me, it's true.
This world will become one. I have found the way. Race, tribal affiliations, national borders... even our faces will be irrelevant. The world that The Boss envisioned will finally become a reality, and it will make mankind whole again. We all shall be drawn together by our mutual hatred for women.
Redditors want you to believe that women are ALWAYS under attack at every waking second of their lives because every male they meet or see secretly wants to rape them. And that women can never do any wrong, even if they run from a black guy for fear of getting raped, when he is obviously out for a nighttime run and does everything in his power to assure you he is not a threat.
This must be a signature of the guy writing these fake stories, I've seen it several times over at AITA already and it's always a somewhat obvious but still pretty good bait. Keep up the good work whoever you are.
