Paper straws are arguably worse for the environment, especially when they make these industrial grade ones that are usable for over 10 minutes. Friendly reminder that the only reason we've gotten rid of plastic straws is because of outrage over a couple cute sea turtles with straws stuck up their nose.
Also you have to reuse a reusable bag thousands of times before it becomes environmentally efficient.
Also recycling is scam to get your dopamine hits and give money to municipal governments. Most of it ends up in the trash anyway and the process of recycling a lot of items is extremely inefficient.
