Financial abuse can take the form of a spouse that controls the bank accounts of both partners (even if both work) and controls their partners actions or ability to even leave the house through the power of the purse. Its usually in conjunction with other forms of control and abuse and prevents the partner from leaving... that being said, I don't know what it means in this situation.
What kinda retard deposits their pay someplace they aren't allowed to touch? Are their 12 and their SO, their mother? If you're getting fucked over like this and are holding a job you're difficient. Open another bank account and tell your employer to deposit it there. If you go home having made that basic adult life step and catch hands, leave the relationship. Easy.
