Nah bordiga is the quintessential "all those other guys were just state capitalism" dude. I'm wondering what he imagines happens after the initial gommie chimpout that leads to magical utopia where nobody has to work because food grows on its own and toilets clean themselves.
(If you think about it the "state capitalism" excuse for communism is pretty good because every gommie state eventually has to become "state capitalist" because "capitalist" is ultimately just the gommie slur for "doing anything that successfully works and feeds people" and every gommie state, once it's done chimping out and killing everyone it doesn't like and stealing their stuff, has to do things that are actually productive if it doesn't want to completely starve, thus it has to start being "capitalist". )
Most of them want a "post scarcity society" where they would still post on Reddit, eat food handed to them by robots, sleep all day, have their commie/anarkiddie bookclubs.
I'd say it's more because i've found most leftists, whether they be commies or anarkiddies, are wage slaves. They are working shit jobs.
There's a few cases where they are underemployed, but they won't work to apply for better jobs.
If Lacan was alive today, he might say something to the effect of "Modern Leftists are reliving trauma from childhood".
My favourite thing is to keep asking them "So how will society run"?
