I went to an event tonight called 'coming out and coffee' for national coming out day. It's basically an open mic night where people share their coming out stories.
These are the "interesting" and "fun" things people are refer to when justifying paying $3,000 a month for a 300 sqft apartment in San Francisco.
I think it's a plot to foil terrorist attacks. Remember the gay club that got shot? If a terrorist lands in SF and starts to look for potential targets, they'll be overloaded, and their head will explode. Like I'm not even a terrorist and reading this is starting to convince me I should grab a Koran and give a call to those angry bearded dudes who give free Arabic lessons in my neighborhood.
No, they're talking about not having to drive to Chili's for a fun night out. They're talking about being able to walk to get your groceries or to a baseball game.
(Not San Francisco in particular, just living in a city as opposed to some weird dorky suburb. Or, even worse, the country)
