I’ve seen videos where random Japs are asked what race they see anime characters as and they do indeed often identify them as asian. In fact they’re often bizarrely more specific than that, like they’ll get shown a picture of some blond haired blue eyed 2d bitch and be like “Chinese”. Like how the fuck did you get that she was specifically a chink out of that? What was the distinguishing feature?
Its more confusing because then they’ll go and draw anime girls and say they’re from the west, and they never draw them any different besides to give them blue eyes. Which their “Japanese” characters can have half the time anyway, westerners just have that feature literally 100% of the time without fail.
The anti-cosplay guy claims that Japanese always draw westerners as some weird racist caricature with a giant nose, but that’s not really true. Like in Legend of the Galactic Heroes, the Imperial side in the struggle is entirely obvious Prussian pandering, all of them are blonde haired blue eyed Aryan ubermen clearly meant to be a reference to Germans. But they aren’t drawn ugly with huge honkin noses, other than the hair and eye color you really wouldn’t be able to tell them from the rest. If anything the main FPA guy Yang Wenli (who I believe is supposed to be ethnically Chinese although this is like thousands of years in the future so who knows) is drawn more different from a typical anime character than them.
I’ve definitely seen examples of obnoxious caucasian caricatures with ugly huge noses but mostly those characters are played for laughs.
They never met real ones. Sure the ones you see on TV can be pretty hot. Every japanese exchange student in my country is a fucking dog with yellow crooked teeth, big ears, and the body of either an anorexic or fat 10yo boy.
It's not like I wouldn't fuck one, I just can't tell the men and women apart.
There was one exception who was quite cute (nothing stunning either) but she was a hapa (and I guess her white dad didn't choose the ugliest nip to reproduce with).
Also for some reason every Japanese exchange student in France is female. I think the men who study abroad go to the best schools (more often in the USA), whereas the females are more sensitive to the scenery. You'll find male japs in our top schools. But in low tier community college equivalent, they'll send their ugliest females.
Japanese foids in France are usually low tier (at least in the easy schools). The tourists can be pretty hot though (but they're another class of people).
The asian drawing is just a bad drawing. Like why did he move her eyes halfway up her head? The first thing you learn in art school when drawing faces is that eyes go in the middle. Putting them on the forehead is a weird instinct people have when drawing and a classic novice mistake, look at actual photographs, their eyes are usually in the middle, not the the top 80% of the head like here. Asian girls aren’t any different, she would be a mutant irl.
Actually east asians tend to have eyes located very close to the forehead. Most east asians don't have deep set eyes. My eyes are located very close to my forehead and so does all of my asian family members
