Criticizing a video on a sentence-by-sentence basis (sometimes fragments) without touching the main thesis or any overall point being made is not a good debunk by any stretch of the imagination. Plus they often sort of make the opposing arguments up out of thin air then debunk those.

Smart debunking is tackling the main THESIS.
