I did a research paper this summer on this subreddit and there was a published study that found that 74% of autists on Reddit came from 1% of source subreddits. I assume that subs like r/DeuxRAMA are the 1%.
I've always been of the opinion that if climate change was as serious as they claim (extinction level event in 20 years), we would be pushing for immediate armed conflict with the top polluters unless they agreed to cut emissions drastically immediately.
Also, all this carbon bill shit is just going to push even more pollution onto people living under inept, corrupt, or otherwise uncaring governments.
Yeah you might wanna check the context of that quote. She was being hyperbolic to drive home the fact that climate change was happening fast and the hurdles being thrown up to appose climate plans were petty. She was literally saying that to push the idea of assessing climate change now not later.
If that’s the best example we have of people claiming the world was ending I think we are good
Shut the fuck up nigger. If you faggots cared about climate control or “going green” we’d all be on nuclear power by now. How many green lobbyists talk about nuclear power?? Does AOC talk about going nuclear? Ok
In a world where countries co-operate, would have to be the answer to that, I suppose. I guess you might try to enforce some sort of global environmental dictatorship, but surely that would be sub-optimal.
Whether global co-operation to meet uniform or at least widespread environmental standards is achievable is certainly moot, but I still it's a good thing to aim for. Surely we do this to an extent already, through various summits and treaties.

Wait, who is claiming that?

AOC: "We’re, like, the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change"

Leftists have since the 90s. I remember them saying by 2015 the world would be nearly uninhabitable.

Children claimed that. Literally no one who actually read the science claimed that. You are reacting to children.

You remember trolls. You listened to trolls. You got your news, from trolls.
Literally zero scientist claimed that, literally no expert suggested it. You are not remembering proof. You are remembering your own gap in knowledge.

Who are 'they' in this instance?

In what universe do you think global pollution standards are going to be passed and enforced?
