I bought Frostpunk a long time ago and I still haven’t beaten to the first story 🤦🏻‍♀️ normally, these kind of management games are my thing but for some reason I cannot just figure out how to run Canada!

So, they put you in some place super cold, people are super demanding and always asking the leader (me) to give them things. Obviously, it’s Canada.

In this game, coal is life. Without the coal to fuel the heater, everyone dies. My strategy is to always stay on top of coal production but Canada being Canada, it keeps accepting refugees. Then, the citizens complain that I should build more houses. But the generator is in the middle and the more buildings I place down, the further they are from the core. That means the colder they get. Then, I get complaints about how I’m not heating their homes.

I might have allowed child labor!! So what?

I might have started fighting rings for cheap entertainment!! So what?

I might have only fed them watery soup because there are too many mouths to feed!! So what?

I might have created a totalitarian government and spread propaganda!! So what?

I might have created a religion and allowed some public lashings!! So what?

They didn’t have to banish me!!! Every single time 😔
