I dunno man, I’ve done the side hustle thing. I’ve done the “technical confounded of a startup” on the side thing, which isn’t really the same thing but in the ballpark. I’ve done the “classes at night” thing.

These days I put the energy into my 9-5 (more like 7-5 really) and use my evenings to recharge and spend time with my wife. It’s been working much better.

Honestly I do get it man. It's important to have healthy work/life balance and for 99% of people that means having plenty of time to recharge and spend with family. It's just that I do think it's true that for a lot of people "recharge time" means staring at reddit or YouTube for hours on end, which is fine in moderation but it's obviously not very fulfilling or meaningful.
