Gamers are a legitimate oppressed minority or something
I was high on blow last night and I wrote this. I have deleted the original post, but fuck it here it is.
This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY unpopular opinion. But I guess thats the point of This subreddit.
You might have seen the memes on the internet saying how gamers are the most oppressed group on the earth. And how they will “Rise Up”. On the surface this is a pretty stupid, and mostly nonsensical meme. But despite how ridiculous it might seem, there is a line of truth to the meme.
It's simple, just get a fucked up ADD brain where random shit pops into your head all the time, then random words from a conversation or something will remind you of another word which will remind you of this video you saw once a few years ago.
I spent some time in Australia years ago. One evening i was in a open front shop and the smell of either gasoline or extreme drunkenness starts to waft in. A minute later this aboriginal guy stumbles along and starts to turn towards the store because it was the only thing open. The girl working there did her best to get him out, but he stood there for a while yelling incoherent shit and stinking up the place for a while before finally fucking off on down the road. A few weeks later I saw a news report about how gas stations around Alice Springs had to keep their gas pumps locked because aboriginals would huff gas out of the pump. Kind of sad that that's what it's come to for some people.
