That's funny; I actually had a 12-year exchange of emails, Skype, phone calls, letters, & presents with a Japanese woman I met on internet dating. I'm not American mind you, I'm Scottish, which is good selling point in international internet dating IME. But when we finally met we almost hated each other! I still have all her letters though. ;; I do have quite a liking for the Japanese on the whole. I think we Brits tend to get on well with them, what with being islanders too.
What about it? That's how long it was until she came over, and I couldn't have afforded to visit Japan during that time. Sounds like you think I was 'waiting' for her, but that wasn't the case at all. I really had no better offers, so it filled the time.
