I posted this video of an Antifa member getting knocked out in r/JusticeServed. The post made it to front page and had a ton of upvotes. As you can imagine, the comments were very heated. I don't know exactly when, but for at least 18 minutes, the flair on my post was changed to my GPS coordinates by a mod or someone. This was after I already received messages telling me to kill myself. Clear violation of the Content Policy, more specifically the private/confidential information. Super fucked up and I've contacted local news stations as I basically was doxxed on the front page for at least 18 minutes with my GPS coordinates.

How exactly did the mods get his "GPS location?" Correct me if I'm wrong, but Reddit jannies can't view users' IP addresses. And even if they could, geolocation by IP won't give you anything more accurate than the city you live in, assuming it even gets that right. So if they somehow got this guy's exact location (assuming his story isn't complete bullshit), it's only because this stupid fuck has geotagging turned on.

Even your home IP lookup will have the location set to wherever the ISP virtualized the location.
