It’s terribly sad. It’s difficult to imagine what could shake these people out of their (class) unconsciousness. As their economic and political clout have steadily eroded over the past five decades, they’ve only moved further into the positions their oppressors demand of them. When I was in college thirty years ago I really expected that there’d be a strong surge to the left in the following decades. It’s baffling that it didn’t happen. When was the last time the left was this weak? I’m not sure what can be done. Sometimes I think the political theories of the 19th century, and all the baggage that goes with them, need to be re-tooled or replaced with ideas that speak to the oppressed of this century. Marx was brilliant! But what does that name mean to the American working class? Sorry. Rambling. Hope your family wakes up.
This might come as a shock to you, but I do not care about your opinions, your ignorance or failure to comprehend the research, or what you believe. The only thing I care about, and I can not stress this enough, is what the empirical research says. And it says you are wrong.
Your personal opinion? worth as much as a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk to me. That is the absolute extent to which I care about what you think. This is where I stopped reading. I do not entertain the economic illiteracy of far leftists or far right-wing tards.
Both are equally misinformed on average, both are failures.

It's great how "u mad bro?" is now both a valid and popular ideology. What a time to be alive!
