I remember when my mums cousin went on holiday to Thailand, so as you can image questions were asked about the ladyboys. She showed as an image of her with 6 women and said some were ladyboys and to guess which they were. Now this was at a family gathering, and we all were stumped, I don't think anyone had an absolute confident answer. Anyway turns out all six were ladyboys and we were shocked.
Point is, these people are full of shite, I'd imagine it's about one third, you have those who you'd never had guessed, those that sadly for them you can tell they're trans (and thus wonder if they're transvestite.) and then there's those that can go either way, which means you wonder if they are trans or if they're just really effeminate or masculine.
(on the topic of ladyboys, are they considered trans or not? I've heard mixed things.)
