To be honest, the closest I've been to being suspected as pedophile was when I had a 16 yo gf a year after I graduated from school. She was a tiny girl (~5'4", 85 lbs.), I was 6'3", about 190 lbs., some buddys teased me with asking whether that wasn't child abuse. I don't think that is valid.
Besides that, no, I don't think anyone around would suspect me of being a pedophile.
But I used to do voluntary work for childrens' and youths' summercamp and would have loved becoming a teacher, but have dropped out university.
Those are red flags, too, if you want to see it like that.
