People (my mostly white friends/acquaintances) are saying that it’s racist to disrespect a black man on the day of his death by talking about him being a rapist, but, like...I think it seems racist to hold black men to a lesser standard than white men as if they’re somehow less responsible for being rapists because...they’re less civilized or something?
