Dead people are not advertising friendly, and bad publicity pisses off investors. Not to mention that I'd imagine that shit was all over ppl's frontpages and maybe even r/all so they panic banned it and then pat themselves on the back because it's 1 less edgy sub they have to keep track of and got a nice ban excuse for it.
Oh yeah i know. Reddit quarantines/bans subs when it threatens their advertisers. Chapo got shut down after the Dayton shooter followed the podcast on twitter. Reddit doesn't really have rule or morals its just about what could make them lose advertisers.
