hey, I've been meaning to ask, what are your favorite Korean movies? So far I've seen Parasite, The Host, Madeo, Old Boy, I'm a Cyborg, Whispering Corridors.
I liked Parasite, Old Boy and Cyborg best, Madeo was also quite good. But the director of Parasite seems like a bit of a pedo so I'm worried, there's always guys in their 20s hooking up with high school girls in his movies.
I actually haven't watched too many and all of the ones I would recommend are on your list. I don't think Korea stands out as particularly good at making movies, but some of their k-dramas are really good when you have lot of time to kill.

All I know is he's a commie. I don't mean he's too left-wing for me, I mean he actually thinks that America is worse than North Korea. I don't need him to lecture me about inequality or whatever.
I think there's a few worthwhile directors, but probably not that many.
I've seen a bit of K-Drama but they're so long. If I want to watch shows I usually watch anime. Though I like I Am Not A Robot so far. But they seriously take a long time to finish ...
I mean he actually thinks that America is worse than North Korea.
That's a good one. I don't watch many anymore because, yeah, it's hard to find the time. And if I stop watching halfway through and try to come back to it later, I've forgotten too much.
They're also often 30 or 40 minutes, right? I haven't seen much tbh. I kind of prefer anime because they're usually just 12 episodes and 20 minutes. And even with the longer ones I've seen like Revolutionary Girl Utena or Monster they're 40 or 60 episodes but still only 20 minutes per episode. And the K-Dramas often seem to also often have a similar episode count. So for live action I mostly watch movies now.
K-dramas are usually around 50-60 minutes/episode, although I think they're experimenting now with shorter episodes on some shows. That makes it kind of tough for me because I've got to have several days in a week where I set aside a whole hour if I want to keep up. Like you say about anime, it's easier because you can just watch an episode while you have lunch.
yes exactly, it's pretty easy to keep up with several seasonal shows with anime. Because you can watch one while eating, or I used to watch one on my bus commute. But 50-60 is pretty long, I thought they were more like 30 to 40 since I am Not a Robot is like 30, I think.
But that's always been an issue for me with American shows too, because with the 45 to 60 minute run time of a lot of shows you might as well almost watch a movie.
Cassandra claims that the bondage pictures that Kathy Zhu posted were illegally obtained and twitter went wild.
So why isn't Kathy Zhu in jail?
That is because I found out today where those pictures came from...a porn site. These are clearly taken on a professional camera and she's clearly posing for the picture. take a look for yourself

Cassandra fairbanks is a single mother that just sits on twitter all day instead of creating a stable future for her daughter.

Anybody else see the absurdity in a Jewish journalist being one of the biggest groyper personalities on Twitter?
Maybe our pal, Noam Blum, can shed some light on the situation?
