The CofS has absolutely no regard for treating people like humans. They are nothing but a resource to them, like slaves in history. They are expendable and if anyone runs out of value they kick them to the curb. The same thing happens if you survive the Sea Org (by some miracle) till you are elderly. No retirement plan. No assistance. One day you are just kicked out for no longer being able to keep up and they let you suffer and fail in the real world they kept you from. Its simply not profitable to be NICE to people.
