So if psychologists claim that trans people are more happy if you tell them that they are smart and fabulous, this might be absolutely 100% scientific correct. It just does not mean that they are actually smart and fabulous.
The real question is: Are you an asshole if you tell a trans person that they are not smart and fabulous?
