Wikipedia has a fairly high level of accuracy on most subjects, at least in relation to history tbh.
It leaves out details, but most of the cited sources are fairly reputable.
There are also various papers on the reliability of Wikipedia that place it pretty high.
Attack the jannies if you want - but the constant attempts to smear the reliability of wikipedia are uncalled for, sir.
