My thought is that it is mainly a left-egalitarian thing; incels are incredibly low-status because they are (considered as incels) generally undesirable and pathetic and since left egalitarianism is all about undermining social distinctions/hierarchies it can’t mock incels for those reasons. Just as a thoroughly general and principled left egalitarianism can’t really look upon the disabled, weak, or dumb as possessing intrinsically undesirable features, it can’t really dislike incels for the reason most do, but instead must force incels into the only position which left egalitarianism can outright oppose: the right-wing. Which isn’t generally untrue for politicized incels, but makes it clear that the left-wing position is just changing the subject. Soyboy incels would still be pathetic and could complain in left-wing terms just as easily as right-wing incels, but such a topic is never broached in popular left-wing spaces (and mens-lib is a cuck-shed, not a popular left-wing space) because it would make it clear that the principles at work in the left-wing position are either incoherent, under-thought, or insincere. Note that she somehow thinks that pointing to the fact that incels don’t really want sex, but rather the dignity of a relationship, should somehow undermine the relevance of their claims, whereas it plausibly seems to suggest that left-wing social views have little to offer incels of any stripe. “We can’t just redistribute social relationships because they aren’t fungible in that way” is just the first step into admission of social distinction and intrinsic purposiveness which isn’t popular to the more radically egalitarian strains of left-wing social politics (though I guess polyamory is a kind of redistributive relationship that could find left-wing support by evacuating romantic relationships of much of their worthwhile content).
You can see this in how Jordan Peterson was attacked far more for his fairly tolerant pro-tradition and “fix yourself” stances than for his hacky Jungian metaphysics (which much of the left couldn’t consistently attack because of its own interest in complicated, vaguely-mystical social structures of a similar kind). Fascism is being dissatisfied with yourself and wanting better instead of riding the rollercoaster of social decay all the way to the bottom. It’s anathema to think that leveling social differences could empty life of some of its moral structure and content (unless that social distinction is, funnily enough, tied up with being an academic or other credentialed professional).
