Flights aren't even cheap anymore depending on where you're flying. Most airlines are grounding a lot of their planes and the ones running popular routes are charging huge amounts of money because they know people will pay it to get home.
It costs almost 3000 dollars one way to fly from London to Canada right now. Normally it would be around 500.
I admire their bravery, honestly I do, risking death just to get some 400px snaps of Anchorage Alaska and bring back stories of the wonderful crab bisque they had at Frozen Ell's diner, where works the only Black Man at that latitude.
You think they want to be around their kids and [great-]grand-children for many more years to come? Hell no, they're tired of it. There are many in the nursing homes wishing people with COVID-19 would visit their place daily.

You think they'd pass up cheap flights just because of a global pandemic? Boomers are far too invested in coupon cutting for that

If I was 80 I wouldn’t give a fuck, if you’ve gonna die in the next six months anyway might as well be 🦇😷

FLL always looks like that. Usually with 80000 Haitians stinking the place up depending on the terminal.

And they'll be fine too. Law of nature: boomers never face consequences.

What about the boomers and coronavirus we don’t have to worry about the boomers there spreading it for us. They’re already doing that.
