I was high on blow last night and I wrote this. I have deleted the original post, but fuck it here it is.
This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY unpopular opinion. But I guess thats the point of This subreddit.
You might have seen the memes on the internet saying how gamers are the most oppressed group on the earth. And how they will “Rise Up”. On the surface this is a pretty stupid, and mostly nonsensical meme. But despite how ridiculous it might seem, there is a line of truth to the meme.
Male behaviors like simping and jestermaxxing, which are bastardized forms of more primitive mating rituals such as courtship dances, has altered the selective pressures acting on women until they were allowed to become what you see today.
I liked it a lot, but it's 14 really long books. Also, it gets finished by Brandon Sanderson and I thought he did kind of a bad job on the last 3 books. Books 2 through 6 and 11 are really good. Honestly, they are some of my favorite books ever. I'm a huge swordshit fan though. I'm reading Malazan now and that's really good. I enjoy it more than the WoT.
I might give it a read when I finally give up on the Dune series now that I've finished Frank Herbert's books and moved on to his sons. His son and the co-author don't have the same talent for prose
