It's been strange to see just how vague and absent the government here has been. Our neighbors all had reasonably prompt, decisive measures taken, firm leadership and all that, but put 3 gussies in a room together and they break down, bickering amongst each other over things like whether the borders should actually be shut or whether that's xenophobic, and whether one was giving a bit of attitude just before when she was talking to the other (probably).

All it took was around 240 cases so a very fast response when comparing with other nations. Im honestly impressed with our government when it comes to corona, apart for Ohisalo ofc.
There was a week of dithering while the writing was on the wall (because the ladies couldn't agree on whether to close the borders or not), then came arbitrary half measures "Don't gather with more than 500 people, just because... no real reason, just don't. 499 is fine.", "Children have a right to learn! We will keep the schools open!" "Everything is under control (we're waiting to see what Sweden does, as usual)", and then the reflexive full measures far too late, which of course led to the classic toilet paper hoarding we've grown to love. Meanwhile the only consistent feature has been equal parts sullen silence from the top gussy, and reading bad advice off a script periodically. Sweden might not be doing shit, but at least the government made some sort of firm decision to follow that path, which is some kind of leadership at least.
