According to a Facebook post at the time from the lead organizer of the event Margaret Jacobsen, Brewis agreed to have her organization, PDX Trans Pride, act as “fiscal sponsor” of the event so the Women’s March could collect tax-deductible donations and raise money to pay for costs associated with the 2017 march. However, according to Jacobsen, there was no written contract regarding the fiscal sponsorship.
Even before the march, this individual had a criminal record a mile long:
According to court records, the former Jorey Lee Brewis had faced a litany of felony charges over the years, as well as several landlord-tenant civil suits.
And to top it all off, they did a DIY transition job that makes that one posted the other day look like cutting edge medicine.
According to a civil-rights lawsuit filed Nov. 21 at U.S. District Court in Portland, 27-year-old Jorey Lee Brewis—aka Rebekah Katherine—was so troubled that he cut out his testicles in his cell and mutilated them.
