As a misanthrope myself, I see this as the natural progression of things. There's a lot of envy and anger in the generational gap, and Americans especially have a very unnuanced takes on the issues in their country. I don't think we should celebrate the death of anyone's grandparents, because suffering is bad. Simple as that. At the same time we cannot ignore the inherent benefits of killing the old.
