I've been making some good shit lately but I don't expect you non katana practicing bustas to have shit like dehydrated seaweed and fish stock on hand, this is basic American shit anyone can make, as usual the diabetic coating can be omitted. The bolded is just what you need, I don't give a shit about the difference between sugars and I use interchangeably. For those of you who don't know how to cook, the cornstarch is to thicken the sauce and must be mixed into a slurry FIRST with COLD liquid, this is why the water is at the bottom. Cornstarch will form clumps in the presence of heat and ruin your shit. And immediately mix it before adding it so it hasn't settled down to the bottom of the water because you left it there. If you don't have cornstarch it's only for viscosity not flavor.

For 2 lbs of meat, use half for 1:

1 tablespoon oil ¼ teaspoon chili flake 1 tablespoon garlic, minced ½ teaspoon ginger, minced ¼ cup sugar ¼ cup brown sugar ¼ cup orange juice ¼ cup white distilled vinegar 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon sesame oil
