No the blanket thing probably never happened, but the Canadian government used to try to civilize these savages with Christianity and rape, mostly rape. The last one closed in the 1990's because of political correctness. So this is why Albertans rightly get angry at the anti-white discrimination they face, since now they get rewarded with special privileges like being exempted from hunting laws as "compensation" for free sex and education.
