My posts are demand-influenced. People feel the need to positively influence themselfes from others. The idiot is a part of the social system and as such has a vital part to play in society as he provides the chance for others to look down on him as he's doing such idiotic things. The internet has desensitised the general public. Someone whos erratically yelling things isn't as off-putting as it used to be when the village idiot was doing that job. People demand weird content that is crossing the boarders of social norms. People putting their bathroom usage on social media seem to be what people want to see. Actually, they are weird, much weirder than most of the other content here. As you can see, this content gets upvoted. You may not like it, but this content is satisfying the need for which people come to this subreddit.
Jartek basically went off the rails with envy watching WSB autists make bank while he was a failed entrepreneur nobody.... he was pretty much gone for years, then came back after the board kept getting attention from Bloomberg and the like; wrote his stupid book, shilled it on WSB and every sketchy finance-related podcast he could find, then tried to turn options trading into a fucking Esport, pretending to have rented some ridiculous arena. Basically tried to monetize his founding of WSB because he couldn't YOLO like a man. Now he's probably done some other dumb attention-seeking stunt and jannies got annoyed with him.
Not just that, but handing it over to a group of scammers - genuinely think he just went mad with envy, for all its retardation, there's some genuinely clever and successful speculators on WSB. He also faked an account called WSBGod and shopped himself some ridiculous returns.
