It wouldnt be hot that, was my point. You didnt say hot mustard at first though, i guess that would be a little better, but even then the mayo would most likely dilute any mustard heat to the point of non heat. Also hot mustard isnt at all the same flavor as hot sauce. I think you would be better off with some kind of horseradish mayo if you want mayo with a kick. But there is no making hot sauce from mayo and mustard is my main point.
that's because mayos eat garbage and are afraid of seasoning. spend a couple more bucks on kewpi mayonnaise from the chinee store and get the good stuff, this is what you get in sushi
If you mean the liquid kind of hot sauce, buy tubes or cans of concentrated harissa. They can be had for cheap, and then mix them with whatever sauce your dish is based on (or something like tomato concentrate or even ketchup if you need to make a sandwich). A small quantity of concentrate goes a long way.

Get mayo for 0.99 cents and mustard for 0.99 cents, mix them together and you'll have hot mayo for less than 2 bucks 👌

I doubt that's actually hot. Get some good hot mustard and make it yourself. Tastes better and it's probably cheaper.
