Space is alarmingly the final frontier of white supremacy. As a global society, we owe it to ourselves to directly assist developing nations' space programs to even the 'space gap.'
I'm glad the word is finally getting out. We cannot have an interplanetary civilization without representation of ALL CULTURES. Usually, when I first present this material to my students I use the analogy of 'Captain Planet' wherein the powers of the Earth are invoked by Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and perhaps most critically- Heart.
That poem actually unironically makes a good fucking point though.
People here on Reddit always like to shit on the military for wasting money, but whenever NASA burns millions of dollars on a single project to do research (A.K.A. fuckall), everyone gets an erection and suddenly forget what a national budget even is.
Space exploration and research is infinitely more useful than spending tax money to ensure some deadbeat person who's never going to contribute anything has an even greater chance of having offspring. Not only is knowledge valuable itself, the money that gets spent on space related innovations generates magnitudes more value down the road in the private sector.
NASA has to this day failed to produce anything valuable for the average citizen through research in space exploration. Everything even remotely useful they came up with was really thought up by the military, like GPS, communications satellites, barcodes, and whatnot.
Investing government money into space exploration instead of in either the military - who has an impressive track record of inventing things that are useful for civilians - or in schools, public transportation, and maybe even healthcare is fucking retarded.
Lmao the military is literally the greatest collection of cucks to ever exist.
Imagine giving your life, mental health, knowing your wife is getting pounded by Tyrone while you’re gone...just because some old boomer told
you it makes you cool.
Jfl. Those retards don’t need our money. It should go to people who actually matter, like scientists.
Imagine forgetting that those cucks gave you the microwave, the GPS, the Internet, and even NASA itself.
Oh, and if you're so sure that NASA has given us something, valuable, then name at least a few things they came up with without being told what to do by the army.
There are entire lists out there about things NASA has developed. Space exploration comes with unique challenges that the military doesn’t. The means unique research and innovation. I’m sure they work heavily with the military but without a specific focus on space, a lot of things wouldn’t have been created and tons of valuable research would not have been realized.
Like...science builds on itself. The more and better research you do in one topic, the more clear another one might become. Being able to actually understand and analyze the physics of space helps us understand other topics which leads to different innovation.
Wheather there are inventions that the military didn’t help with, I don’t really feel like digging that deep. The point is it wouldn’t have happened if we weren’t trying to explore space.
That’s not what I’m taking about. You understand that to explore space you need to create technology in pretty much every aspect that can survive extreme conditions?
Space exploration has lead to advances in optical technology, solar technology, materials development, imaging, software advances, spectrometry, robotics, etc
And once again, you get and learn tons of valuable data about the universe and nature from being able to explore and understand space. Information that we can take and use to develop things on Earth.
I can't tell if this is ironic or if you're actually retarded, so first... bravo.
Second, if this is legit, then need I remind you that blowing up 10,000 huts in Shitbergistan is worth many times more than seeing what happens to spit bubbles in zero G or if a plant will grow in the space station.
Research literally is pointless and all money should be diverted to bombs for the middle east program, where the US and it's allies drop bombs on the middle east.
It's not ironic, and I am retarded. Good guess work! 🥰
You're correct that fueling the MIC with unending conflict generates far more economic value than space research, but I never suggested taking money from the military to fund it. I simply said that I'd rather the money be spent on space research than on dumb shit like ensuring every hoodrat and trailer trash kid has a chance to go college and learn absolutely nothing. I'd certainly rather have the money go to bombs than have it get spent on universal free hrt for chapo-cuties 🤮

Lol prophetic unless you’ve seen this. The professor argues that space isn’t real cuz it’s too white https://youtu.be/YjvmIFrX1xQ

Blacks have always impeded space exploration if not technology can in general

Really good poem, I enjoyed the nigga being sad. Protip for next time though: less ebonics.

Who gives a fuck about a pen that can write upside down?? You know how the Russians solved the problem: with a fucking pencil.

Nuking the japs created more technology than every research project ever conducted, I'd say CMV you but you can't because that's an absolute fact.
1 brodudebrodude123 2020-04-21
Okay but they didn’t need to nuke them because I could have just dabbed on them instead.
The point is we still developed technology from doing something not needed
1 _reason_biden_lost_ 2020-04-21
Nah we had to nuke 'em

And they are unable to do anything useful because all their achievements were under the lead of NASA (NAzi Scientists for America).

We literally wasted 100 trillion in financial aid to the third world. Imagine if the West used that money for space research instead.
