I've treated my body like Clive Barker character. Can't even take my shirt off at the beach out of consideration for my family. It's bad enough that I've been criticized by cutters who are, for some reason, prideful of what they do. That said, I can't obganiate enough how funny that was.
I’ll interject - my one and only scar was the result of a full blown mental breakdown when I was really badly drunk. I smashed a bottle and used a shard to slash myself. It’s like if you’ve got into an argument with someone and you really really want to punch them in the face, but there’s nobody to punch or blame. 100% the dumbest thing I’ll ever do
It always escalates. It was punching walls at first. I should’ve gone to a therapist rather than think it was normal. I’m glad I got help before I did something worse.
