There's a group of bigots and harassers who want very much to be allowed free reign to say and do whatever they want, wherever they want, all over Reddit -- Racism? They want it. Misogyny? They want it. Covid-19 misinformation? They want it. Spam? Porn? Witch hunts, doxxing people, inciting violent assaults and murders? They. Want. It.

They're not content with 4chan, or 8chan, or web forums on the Dark Web - hellnaw. They demand access to all the audiences, because without an audience, they're just sad loser clowns full of hatred and nausea.

So they've been trying every way they can imagine to harass the moderators that stop them from running roughshod over Reddit - the mods that are kind, nice, effective, and don't put up with the bigot's / harasser's demands that they be allowed to vomit their metaphorical spleens and other bodily secretions anywhere they please.

So they've done such horrible things as try to frame moderators as paedophiles, repeatedly often while shoving child porn in their faces / modmails.

These horrible people engage in vote manipulation and comment harassment of those moderators when they comment in public subreddits -- they vote brigade the posts those mods post onto their own profiles, and submit dozens of false reports on those posts (ranging from "this is spam" to "it threatens violence or physical harm at someone else" on a picture of a sleeping cat).

They've decided that these moderators - who are kind, conscientious, dedicated and effective - have to be harassed off of reddit.

So one of the ways that they've done this is by identifying the moderators who have mod roles on a large number of subreddits -- and claiming that those particular accounts are ~eEeEeEvIlLlL~, and inducing pitchfork-and-torches mobs to harass them.

All of this, of course, is just strong-arm mafia tactics, and extortion.

CyXie was among those targeted.

CyXie did what was best for his self, and left Reddit.

Reddit, meanwhile, takes little or no action to shut down the co-ordinated harassment and extortion, which all violates the Content Policy against Harassment.
