Yeah no one charged interest until the (((merchants))) walked into town and started charging interests for loans.
Its partly why they got 109'ed because people didnt want to pay back the loans with interests

What would be the incentive to give anyone a loan if you didn't charge interest?
But I do like the idea of running up a huge amount of credit card debt and when the merchants come to collect you just pogrom them all. Quite funny.
