After black religious people came out in 2008 to both elect obama AND deny me the right to marry a same sex partner, I’m really fucking tired of the media making this group of homophobic assholes out to be “model minorities” who we have to agree with or else be called racist. Not to say all black people are homophobic or transphobic, it’s just the boomers and religious (same as white people). but white liberals act like being black means you’re immune to any and all criticism
