Orthodoxy gets a lot wrong and a lot right. Unfortunately, Orthodoxy claims to be "the one true church", so you cannot really claim that it gets a lot of foundational things wrong without a ton of other stuff coming crashing down as well.
Apostolic succession: this practice is in dispute by church fathers. It has extremely little Biblical support. Besides that, from a rational perspective, it makes little sense. Obviously the laying of hands confers very little of anything special on a clergyman, we have ample evidence of corruption, errors in practice and theology, and general bullshitery that makes apostolic succession either ineffectual and purely ritualistic, or just not a thing at all.
The entire concept of there being a corporeal "one true church": see above; very little real support in church father writings; especially in early ones like Gregory of Nyssa and Origen. There is a one true church, however it doesn't exist as a legal entity here on earth.
Those are two foundational problems with the modern Orthodox view. There are things I think they got right though; their strain of Universalism is far stronger in Orthodoxy than in other christian traditions. I also think that they had an advantage in the early years of being closer to the original Greek texts; so in the context of Orthodoxy v Rome, they had a serious advantage. However as the church has moved away from being extremely Greek centered and more multipolar (Slavic and Arabic), and as Koine Greek has become more thoroughly divorced from modern Greek, this advantage is minimized. I also think they are right about the power of the Pope, e.g. it is bullshit, but that the issue of the Filioque is just them being austistic and butthurt over the Pope; as it makes sense in Latin and was used to combat Arianism. I also think they have a lot in common with certain Protestant trains of thought, notably Reformed, especially in "sanctification". The issue is that Reformed thought goes into it in more detail whereas Orthodoxy is content to leave it to "mysticism"; you have two groups arguing over shit that they agree on, but can't see that they agree on.
Unfortunately though, you can't really have these foundational things be wrong and still claim to be God's "one true church". When you look at it critically, membership in a corporeal church as evidence of your Holiness is pretty absurd. There are so many cases where this blows up into a major problem. The Orthodox themselves even admit this; what happens to people who never heard the Gospel, for example? Orthodox: well, its a valid question, but we don't know.
