I take anything any Kaczynski poster says with a grain of salt. Sure is convinient that your ideology let's you use technology to spread itself right? Sure is nice not having to examine your internet habits, because now its not just consumption its consumption with purpose :). Ted posting does to the masculine brain what /r9k/ grooming does to the feminine. Its ideological fast food.
It would be hopeless for revolutionaries to try to attack the system without using SOME modern technology. If nothing else they must use the communications media to spread their message. But they should use modern technology for only ONE purpose: to attack the technological system.
Why wouldn't they use technology to spread their ideology? The fact that technology is unavoidable makes not using it impractical. The way I see it it doesn't make a difference whether anyone overthrows the system it not, it will destroy itself and us along with it eventually if nothing else.
